Volleyball Recap: Skyline Eagles vs. Bingham Miners
Skyline put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Bingham Miners as the Skyline Eagles made off with a 3-0 win. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 loss the Miners walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2023.
The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 25-22.
Skyline was led to victory by Ofeina Alofipo and Macy Luker. Alofipo had nine digs, while Luker had eight digs. Alofipo is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had four or more in the last 13 games she's played dating back to last season.
Skyline's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Bingham, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-4 record.
Skyline will challenge Mountain Ridge at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Mountain Ridge will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Skyline surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bingham, they will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Bountiful at 1:30 p.m.
