It was a good run, but Palmetto Ridge unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 13-3 to the Oasis Sharks. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bears have suffered since February 20th.

Anthony Del Sol made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Omar Rosado, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Palmetto Ridge now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Oasis, their record now sits at 3-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmetto Ridge will welcome Mariner at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oasis will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Golden Gate at 6:30 p.m. on March 27th.
