Softball Recap: St. Helena Saints vs. Cloverdale Eagles
St. Helena won against Salesian College Preparatory last Wednesday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. Everything went the Saints' way against the Cloverdale Eagles as they made off with an 11-1 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Saints have posted against the Eagles since April 1, 2022.

Tahlia Smith made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Ada Blanton and Ellie Carmichael did most of the damage at the plate: Blanton went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Carmichael scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
