Pine Crest waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Gulliver Prep Raiders. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Mia Gold paced Pine Crest's offense, picking up 14 kills. Gold got some help from Isabella Collado and her 21 assists. Collado was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Despite the loss, Gulliver Prep still got an impressive performance from Mia Lavalle, who had 29 digs and four assists. Another player making a difference was Daniela Torre Blanes, who had 16 assists and four digs.

Pine Crest's record is now 15-8. As for Gulliver Prep, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 15-7 record.

Pine Crest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against North Broward Prep on the 8th. As for Gulliver Prep, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Saint Andrew's on the 8th.
