Basketball Recap: Neosho Comes Up Short

Neosho was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the Kickapoo Chiefs, falling 82-15. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Neosho's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Kickapoo, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Neosho Wildcats take on the Ozark Tigers at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Kickapoo, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Webb City at 6:30 p.m. Kickapoo knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Webb City likes a good challenge.
