Hauppauge came out on top against Harborfields on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run third inning. The Eagles put the hurt on the Tornadoes with a sharp 13-1 victory. Considering the Eagles have won six matches by more than 11 runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hauppauge's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Harborfields, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hauppauge is set to take on their familiar foe Eastport-South Manor at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Harborfields will face off against rival Rocky Point at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
