General Brown was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Canastota on Friday. The Lions blew past Canastota 48-13. Considering the Lions have won seven matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

General Brown's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Canastota, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. General Brown will welcome Bishop Grimes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Canastota, they will challenge Skaneateles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Mason Roberts and Hugh Carroll.
