Recap: Bellmont Braves vs. Whitko Wildcats
The Bellmont Braves won the last time they faced the Whitko Wildcats, and things went their way on Friday too. Bellmont snuck past Whitko with a 52-47 win.
Despite the defeat, Whitko had strong showings from Sam Essegian, who scored 14 points along with 9 rebounds, and Kyler Krull, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. The game was Krull's third in a row with at least ten points. Easton Grable was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Bellmont's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Whitko, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Bellmont will be playing at home against Heritage at 7:30 p.m. on December 9th. As for Whitko, they will head out on the road to face off against Smith Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
