Basketball Recap: Environmental Comes Up Short

If Environmental was feeling good fresh off their 105-75 takedown of Laguardia last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Environmental Eagles took a 69-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Democracy Prep Dragons on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now lost three in a row.

Environmental's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Democracy Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Environmental didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 62-46 loss against Douglass Academy on the 16th. Democracy Prep has also already played their next game (against Math Science & Engineering), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
