Recap: Boyd Anderson Cobras vs. Stranahan Mighty Dragons

The Boyd Anderson Cobras had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Stranahan 46-3 at home. That looming 46-3 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Boyd Anderson yet this season.

Boyd Anderson found their leader in underclassman Ja'Kira Dennis, who scored 11 points along with six steals. Dennis has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jakaylia Roland, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Boyd Anderson's win bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Stranahan, they bumped their record down to 0-7 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boyd Anderson will take on Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Stranahan, they will head out on the road to take on Hallandale at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
