Softball Recap: University Prep Panthers vs. Lassen Grizzlies

University Prep owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-0 win over the Lassen Grizzlies. The victory made it back-to-back wins for University Prep.

University Prep got a great performance from Gracie Hornbuckle as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. Hornbuckle has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 13 consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Leigha Wood was excellent, going 1-for-4 with a home run.
