Baseball Recap: Scott's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Scott waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Capital Cougars. That's two games straight that the Skyhawks have won by just one run.

Blayne Kuhn was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kedron Elkins, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Scott's victory bumped their record up to 10-3-2. As for Capital, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scott will square off against Logan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Capital, they will welcome Hurricane at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
