Volleyball Recap: Morrow Gets the Win

Morrow won the last time they faced Washington and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Morrow took both sets by at least 23 points. The final score came out to 25-2, 25-1.

Hope White was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 20 aces. Those 20 aces gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sivananda Arun, who had six aces.

Morrow couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 57.1% of their attack attempts. That's the best hitting percentage they've posted all season.

Morrow's record now sits at 7-3.

Looking ahead, Morrow will welcome Mt. Zion at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Washington, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Banneker at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
