Allegany-Limestone dropped their record down to 5-2 on Thursday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They came up short against  the Southwestern Trojans, falling  21-6. If the Gators were looking for revenge after losing  11-4 to the Trojans when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
As for Southwestern, they now  have a winning record of 3-2. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for them this season.
For Southwestern's part,  Lucas Genareo made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Genareo was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles.
 In other batting news,  Judd Harris was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with five  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run.  Oscar Harris was another key player,  going 1-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
While Allegany-Limestone had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
