Oliver Springs never let their opponents score on Monday. They were the clear victors by  a  10-0 margin over the Oakdale Eagles. Considering the Bobcats have won nine contests by more than five  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Cooper Jones made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in four consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news, Oliver Springs let  Cole Tedder and  Karson Seeber run wild. Tedder  went 3-for-4 with three  stolen bases and three  RBI, while  Seeber  went 2-for-4 with four  runs and one  triple. Those  three  hits gave  Tedder a new career-high.  Eli Brummett was another key player,  going 2-for-5 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Oliver Springs  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oakdale only managed two  hits.
The  win made it two in a row for Oliver Springs and  bumps their season record up to 14-10-1. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2  run in those games. As for Oakdale, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost 12 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oliver Springs will host Harriman  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Oakdale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Coalfield  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
