Softball Recap: Rosemont Comes Up Short

Rosemont suffered their biggest defeat since March 4th on Monday. They lost 14-1 to the Wood Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 back in February.

Rosemont saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jalaya Cozart, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Rosemont has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Wood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Rosemont has already played their next match, a 17-6 loss against Del Campo on the 14th. As for Wood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Bella Vista on the 14th.
