Recap: Roland Rangers vs. Stilwell Indians
The Roland Rangers lost against the Stilwell Indians back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Roland's rough 68-44 defeat to Stilwell might stick with them for a while. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Roland in their matchups with Stilwell: they've now lost four in a row.
Stilwell's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Snowda Watie, who scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Another player making a difference was Prairie Holmes, who scored 15 points along with 5 steals.
Roland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Stilwell, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Roland will head out on the road to face off against Sallisaw at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stilwell, they will be playing at home against Checotah at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
