Baseball Recap: West Union Comes Up Short

West Union lost against Amory back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. West Union lost 8-2 to Amory. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Union saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jon Grey Morrisson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

West Union's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Amory, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-6.

West Union didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 22-1 victory against West Lowndes on the 28th. As for Amory, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-3 win against Nettleton on the 25th.
