Volleyball Recap: River View Takes a Loss

River View lost against Greenbrier West back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Raiders fell 2-0 to the Cavaliers. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Baleigh Auville paced River View's offense, picking up four kills. Auville got some help from Addison Honosky and her four assists. Honosky also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Madison LaForce, racking up two apiece.

River View's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Greenbrier West, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-1-1 record this season.

River View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Wyoming East on the 13th. As for Greenbrier West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Greenbrier East on the 16th.
