Softball Recap: Paris Comes Up Short

Paris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the New Boston Lions, falling 18-3.

Paris' defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for New Boston, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, Paris will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Chapel Hill at 5:00 p.m. Paris has given up an average of 19.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for New Boston, they will take on Overton at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. Overton's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so New Boston's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
