You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Palmdale's strategy against Eastside on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Falcons blew the Lions out of the water with a 48-10 final score. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 20 points or more this season.

Elleyon Clark produced another solid performance rushing for 138 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing two fumbles, making two total tackles, and defending two passes in addition to snagging two interceptions both of which were returned for touchdowns.

Palmdale didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Clark led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. He also rushed for 138 rushing yards, which is notable because Palmdale is 3-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-4 otherwise. Clark got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win was the fourth in a row for Palmdale, bringing their record up to 4-5. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to yards per carry: they averaged an imposing 7.18 yards per carry in those games compared to only 2.58 in the others. As for Eastside, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Coming up, Palmdale will welcome Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eastside, they have already played their next contest, a 49-13 loss against Knight on the 30th.
