Recap: Brewbaker Tech Rams vs. LAMP Golden Tigers
Even though the LAMP Golden Tigers scored an imposing 57 points on Friday, the Brewbaker Tech Rams still came out on top. Brewbaker Tech escaped with a win against LAMP by the margin of a single free throw, 58-57. That's another feather in the cap for Brewbaker Tech, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Johnathan Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 20 rebounds. Those 30 points set a new season-high mark for him. Tyler Dixon was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with three steals.
Brewbaker Tech's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for LAMP, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brewbaker Tech will face off against Lanier at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for LAMP, they will head out on the road to face off against Beauregard at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
