Basketball Recap: North Branford Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wilcox RVT on Tuesday, North Branford came back down to earth. The North Branford Thunderbirds took a 55-36 bruising from the Old Lyme Wildcats on Wednesday. The match marked the Thunderbirds' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

North Branford has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Old Lyme, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-3.

North Branford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Old Lyme, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats face off against the Panthers at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
