Soccer Game Preview: Tallulah Falls vs. Lakeview Academy

The Tallulah Falls Indians will take on the Lakeview Academy Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tallulah Falls has given up an average of 3.3 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Tallulah Falls lost 11-2 to Lumpkin County on Friday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Tallulah Falls was already down 6-1.

Bailey Crumley and Lizzie Huebner scored both of Tallulah Falls' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, Lakeview Academy entered their tilt with Bethlehem Christian Academy on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 8-2 victory. Fans of the Lions have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

Lakeview Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those three games. As for Tallulah Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.

Tallulah Falls suffered a grim 9-4 defeat to Lakeview Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2022. Can Tallulah Falls avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
