Volleyball Recap: Fenton Comes Up Short

Fenton was the 2-0 winner over South Lyon East when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Cougars on Saturday.

Eva Long paced Fenton's offense, picking up eight kills. Long got some help from Madison Elteringham and her seven assists. Lexi Stone controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Fenton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for South Lyon East, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Fenton is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against DeWitt at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Lyon East, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Walled Lake Northern at 6:30 p.m. on September 4.
