Cassidy Freeman was a one-woman wrecking crew for Woodville-Tompkins as she went 8 for 9 from beyond the arc on her way to 30 points and three steals. Those 30 points gave Freeman a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Armstrong, who went 5 of 8 en route to 13 points and six blocks.
Toombs County's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Woodville-Tompkins, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-14.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Toombs County beat Woodville-Tompkins by a score of 45-34 on Wednesday.
