Basketball Recap: Chelsea Comes Up Short

Chelsea suffered their closest loss since December 12, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Sexton Big Reds by a score of 73-71. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (57), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Chelsea moved to 17-9 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Sexton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Chelsea does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sexton, they will face off against Summit Academy North on Tuesday. One thing working in Summit Academy North's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 18 contests.
