Softball Recap: Christian Patriots vs. Eastlake Titans
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Christian had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Eastlake Titans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Christian.
Ava Barrios looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Jordyn Krystek was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. Tyler Krystek was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.
Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 24-7-1 record this season. As for Eastlake, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 20-11 record this season.
