Football Game Preview: Owasso Rams vs. Norman North Timberwolves + Official Tickets

Owasso is 9-1 against Norman North since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams will be playing at home against the Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Owasso has six straight wins, Norman North has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Owasso blew past Edmond Santa Fe, posting a 42-8 victory. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Jayden Hall was his usual excellent self, rushing for 181 yards and four TDs while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also picking up 35 receiving yards. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Drew Frankenfield, who threw for 160 yards and one touchdown.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Owasso's defense and their three sacks. Ethan Majdid was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. Kam Miller was another major factor on D, making ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, Norman North came up short against Yukon on Thursday and fell 48-40.

Norman North's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Owasso, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Owasso was able to grind out a solid victory over Norman North in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 64-54. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Timberwolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
