Volleyball Recap: Chicago Sullivan Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Chicago Sullivan, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Phoenix Military Firebirds by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Firebirds, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chicago Sullivan took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11.

Chicago Sullivan's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Phoenix Military, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chicago Sullivan will square off against rival Clark at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Phoenix Military is set to challenge their familiar foe Westinghouse at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
