Softball Recap: San Pasqual Takes a Loss

San Pasqual's last matchup with Mission Hills could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Golden Eagles lost 14-2 to the Grizzlies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-3 back in April.

San Pasqual saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ally McKinley, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

This is the second loss in a row for San Pasqual and nudges their season record down to 9-9. As for Mission Hills, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Pasqual will head out to face off against Grossmont at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mission Hills, they will venture away from home to challenge Rancho Bernardo at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
