Baseball Game Preview: West Point Pointers vs. Thomas Jefferson Vikings

After both having extra time off, the West Point Pointers and the Thomas Jefferson Vikings will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Point's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three contests, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

West Point might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 17-2 to Essex, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, Thomas Jefferson hadn't done well against Henrico recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way last Wednesday. The Vikings came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 5-2.

Thomas Jefferson now has a winning record of 2-1. As for West Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
