Baseball Game Preview: Abington Green Wave vs. Weston Wildcats

The Abington Green Wave will venture away from home to take on the Weston Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, it was close, but Abington sidestepped Carver for a 2-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Green Wave.

Meanwhile, Weston never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over Minuteman Regional.

Owen Jorajuria was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Dylan Conley was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Abington's record is now 2-0. As for Weston, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Abington came out on top in a nail-biter against Weston in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 12-10. Will the Green Wave repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
