Basketball Recap: Glen Iris Baptist Makes It 12 in a Row at Home

Glen Iris Baptist had won 11 straight home games dating back to last season and Joshua Everett did his part to make it 12 on Friday. The Glen Iris Baptist Swordsmen strolled past the Pineview Christian Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 78-59 thanks in part to Everett, who posted 42 points and three steals. Those 42 points gave him a new career-high.

Glen Iris Baptist's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Pineview Christian, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glen Iris Baptist will welcome East Central HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pineview Christian, they and First Assembly Christian will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
