Softball Recap: Lansingburgh Beats Scotia-Glenville for Their Second Straight Victory

Lansingburgh won against Cohoes last Thursday with two runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Knights beat the Scotia-Glenville Tartans by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Guiliana Patregnani spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up 15 Ks.

At the plate, Lansingburgh's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kyleigh Wilmott, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. Wilmott has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.

Lansingburgh's record is now 15-6. As for Scotia-Glenville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-6-1.

As of now, neither Lansingburgh nor the Tartans have any future games scheduled.
