Football Recap: Downers Grove South Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Downers Grove South's offense. They had to suffer through a 52-0 loss at the hands of the Willowbrook Warriors. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Downers Grove South's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Willowbrook, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Downers Grove South is set to take on their familiar foe Addison Trail at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Willowbrook will square off against rival Yorkville at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Warriors 3.4, the Foxes 7.1) so any points scored will be well earned.
