Basketball Game Preview: Wabash Apaches vs. Logansport Berries

Wabash is on a three-game streak of home losses, Logansport a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Wabash Apaches will host the Logansport Berries at 7:30 p.m.

Wabash saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 46-38 to Northfield.

Wabash's defeat came about despite a quality game from Eli Mattern, who went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 21 points. Those 21 points gave Mattern a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jarrett McWhirt, who posted seven points.

Meanwhile, Logansport came into Saturday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They secured a 51-47 W over Fremont on Saturday.

Logansport's win came from a few key players Wabash will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was RJ Clem, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. He has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Eli Baldwin, who put up ten points and eight rebounds.

Logansport's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Wabash, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
