If Cranford was riding high fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Governor Livingston on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars came up short against the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders on Saturday, falling 11-3. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost four in a row.

Cranford's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Scotch Plains-Fanwood, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-6.
