Baseball Recap: Edinburg/South Fork Falls to Central a & M in First Game of Season

Edinburg/South Fork had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 12-3 to the Central A & M Raiders on Monday. If the Ponies were looking for revenge after losing 11-0 to the Raiders when the teams met back in April of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The victory made it two in a row for Central A & M and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

Edinburg/South Fork will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Nokomis at 4:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Central A & M, they have already played their next matchup, a 13-1 defeat against Warrensburg-Latham on the 9th.
