Baseball Recap: White River Comes Up Short

White River has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.86 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They came up short against the Decatur Golden Gators, falling 10-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Hornets have suffered since April 24, 2024.

White River now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Decatur, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Decatur's pitchers better be ready for this one: Jefferson has averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season.
