Basketball Game Preview: Amador Buffaloes vs. El Dorado Cougars

Amador is on a three-game streak of home losses, El Dorado a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Amador Buffaloes will host the El Dorado Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Amador has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Thursday, Amador lost to Union Mine on the road by a 95-76 margin. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (62), the Buffaloes still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for El Dorado against Bradshaw Christian on Friday as the team secured a 68-37 win. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

El Dorado's victory bumped their record up to 11-15. As for Amador, their loss dropped their record down to 8-18.

Amador lost to El Dorado at home by a decisive 93-76 margin in their previous meeting back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of El Dorado's Logan Baker, who went 12 for 20 en route to 26 points along with eight boards and four steals.
