Soccer Recap: East Lyme Comes Up Short

East Lyme was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Waterford Lancers.

East Lyme's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-2. As for Waterford, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-5-3.

East Lyme does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Waterford, they will head out on the road to challenge Stonington at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
