Soccer Recap: MCC Takes a Loss

MCC scored the most goals they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the College Prep of America Thunder by a score of 3-2. The game was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but MCC couldn't quite close it out.

Yassin Shalaan and Ayaan B scored both of MCC's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

MCC's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for College Prep of America, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Coming up, MCC will host Islamic Foundation at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for College Prep of America, they are taking a road trip to square off against Universal at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Universal will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something College Prep of America surely won't give up without a fight.
