            Volleyball Recap: Western Harnett Eagles vs. Harnett Central Trojans        
        
		
        
        
            Western Harnett was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight  loss. They lost  3-0 to the Harnett Central Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  back in August.
 While Western Harnett was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Harnett Central's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12,  25-18.
 Harnett Central's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Allie Williams, who  had 11  digs and four  aces. Williams is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in each of the last 35 games she's  played dating back to last season.  Kailey Ellis was another key player,  getting 15  assists and four  digs.
Western Harnett's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Harnett Central, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Western Harnett is set to  take on  their familiar foe Lee County  at 5:45  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Harnett Central will  face off against  rival Union Pines  at 5:45  p.m.  on Thursday.
