Basketball Recap: New Life Christian Comes Up Short

New Life Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 76-32 loss at the hands of the Eagle Ridge Christian Eagles. The Crusaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-21.

New Life Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Eagle Ridge Christian, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Life Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Crosspoint Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for Eagle Ridge Christian, they will head out to challenge Dongola at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
