Softball Recap: Sunset Apollos vs. Beaverton Beavers
In what's become a running theme this season, Sunset gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Beaverton Beavers a 17-0 shutout. Sunset's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Sophie Pappas was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits (she also didn't allow any walks). Pappas was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
