Soccer Game Preview: William Tennent vs. Lower Moreland

The William Tennent Panthers will challenge the Lower Moreland Lions at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Thursday, William Tennent came up short against Springfield Township and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Lower Moreland was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Gwynedd Mercy Academy could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

With that draw, Lower Moreland's record moves to 8-8-1. As for William Tennent, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

William Tennent beat Lower Moreland by a goal in their previous matchup back in September, winning 1-0. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
