Caney Valley won the last time they faced Northeast and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bullpups walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Vikings.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16.

Grace Prince paced Caney Valley's offense, picking up eight kills. Prince got some help from Emma Marshall and her 21 assists. Marshall was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Caney Valley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Northeast, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Coincidentally, Caney Valley and Northeast will both be playing Chetopa the next time they take the court. The Vikings will host the Hornets on Saturday, while the Bullpups will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
