Karli Adams made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Kinzie Hawkins was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Kate Lopez, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Cedar was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .484. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Snow Canyon only posted a batting average of .241.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beaver). They put the hurt on Parowan with a sharp 26-16 win on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Beavers considering their two-run performance the game before.

The team relied heavily on Jerzee Beaumont, who fired off two home runs, six runs, and five RBI while going 5-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Danzee Bradshaw, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, five runs, and one stolen base.

Cedar's record now sits at 13-10. As for Beaver, their record is now 16-6.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Cedar hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Beaver struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.

Everything went Cedar's way against Beaver in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, as Cedar made off with a 12-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Reds since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
