Basketball Recap: Aynor Has No Trouble Against Conway Christian

Aynor won the last time they faced Conway Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Blue Jackets blew past the Eagles 64-39.

Aynor had a senior duo take command as Lucas Kamp shot 60% from beyond the arc en route to 21 points and Robinson Mendez went 5-for-8 to rack up 12 points and seven boards. Alex Lewis was another key player, putting up four points.

Aynor smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Conway Christian lost, don't look at Miles Crawford. Despite the final result, he posted 20 points. That was a full 51.3% of the Eagles' points, marking the third time in a row Crawford has had more than a third of the team's points.

Aynor now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Conway Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
